Since being ‘forced’ to don a Barcelona shirt after Spain’s triumph in the 2010 World Cup, it was only a matter of time before Fabregas joined the Catalan giants. And after much lingering transfer speculation and a hastily arranged medical last night the deal was sealed.
It seems much of the dilly dallying was due to the complexity of the deal which will see Fabregas himself contributing to the transfer fee to the tune of 1m Euros. We hope Fabregas does well at the club he played for as a boy.
]]>WESLEY SNEIJER SIGNS FOR MANCHESTER…
Ok, we admit, we don’t know which Manchester team he has signed for yet, but as the most talked about transfer of the summer keeps rolling on we ask ourselves why is he such hot property at the moment?
In 2010, the attacking midfielder was named by UEFA as the midfielder of the season and by Fifa as one of the best three midfielders in the world in the same year. He’s also a dead-ball specialist with some of his best goals coming from free kicks. He’s also scored 84 goals from 326 games, not a bad tally for a midfielder.
Which Manchester team will he join? We’ll have to wait and see.
]]>Liverpool were the first to break the record at around 5:45pm when they announced that they had agreed a fee of £35million with Newcastle United for striker Andy Carroll. This then enabled the Merseyside club to accept the £50million bid Chelsea had offered for Fernando Torres, after he had handed in a transfer request at the weekend.
I still can’t believe that Liverpool have paid so much for a striker who’s only played half a season in the Premiership and has yet to really prove himself. Whereas I’m not surprised Chelsea were willing to pay £50million for a Torres because he’s a world class player who looked like he didn’t really want to be at Liverpool anymore.
I just hope he doesn’t help Chelsea stop United from winning the title!
Also the John Rooney Waynes little brother deciding to leave Macclesfield to see if could find another club may be one bigger however he has not managed to find and attention and has been forced to try his look in America with trial for Seattle Sounders FC

Now it has emerged that in the next couple of days he will be signing for the Gunners again. Sol has been quoted as saying that Arsene isn’t stupid and wouldn’t sign him if there wasn’t a roll for him.
The signing comes in the light that there is interest from other clubs including Newcastle and Hull, however Arsenal would always be Number 1 for for Sol as it is were he spent the best of his days.
